The 30 HOUR FAMINE is World Vision’s annual flagship youth-centric event, to raise awareness of global issues such as poverty and the well-being of children.
The 30 HOUR FAMINE is held in many countries including USA, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Malaysia, and Singapore, and involves more than 1.5 million youth around the world, fasting from solid food for 30 hours to show their solidarity towards people trapped in poverty.
The 30 HOUR FAMINE Camp in Singapore aims to transform the mindset of youths in Singapore towards issues of poverty, and to motivate campers to take action steps towards achieving change.
This year, the 30 HOUR FAMINE Camp will take place on June 17 & 18 at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, with the support of over 1500 youths and volunteers.
