Misko FoundationThe Misko Foundation is named after a Hungarian boy, Misko Simon Bujdoso, who suffers from Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), a severely debilitating, lethal, and as of yet incurable condition. The Foundation raises funds for and organizes Misko's therapy, and aims to fund research approaches for a treatment of DMD. Misko was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) January 2008, at the age of one. DMD is coupled with encroaching disability and those affected are not expected to live past their 30th birthday. The primary goal of our foundation is to try to avert this fate of Misko while sharing our experiences with the Hungarian and the broader DMD community.47 supporters -
