Bring Guy Hever Home

Guy Hever, IDF soldier has been missing since August 17th, 1997. He was last seen on the Golan Heights just one kilometer away from the Syrian border. He was dressed in army fatigues and carried his personal weapon, as customary for all Israeli soldiers, his dog tag and his international military identification papers(Geneva Convention Card). An extensive search was carried out, but there were no results. International and humanitarian organizations, have made great efforts to obtain information on Guy being kept in Syria. In February 2007 a Syrian organization claimed it holds Guy and wants to exchange him for Syrian prisoners being held in Israel. On July 2009 Israel has launched a diplomatic campaign in attempt to obtain any information that Syria possess on Guy Hever. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged that a special representative would be named to oversee the activity undertaken by the defense agencies in the state.

  • Free Gilad Shalit!
Gilad Shalit (born 28 August 1986) is an Israeli soldier who was captured on 25 June 2006 by Hamas in a cross-border raid. He was abducted near the Kerem Shalom crossing (in Israel), and has been held as a prisoner in the Gaza Strip by Hamas since then – it has been 4 years already… During the cross-border raid, two Palestinian militants and two IDF soldiers were killed and three others wounded, aside from Shalit, who reportedly suffered a broken left hand and a light shoulder wound after his tank was hit with a rocket-propelled grenade (RPG). He was the first Israeli soldier captured by Palestinian militants. Gilad holds French citizenship, a fact that encouraged France and the European Union to be involved to some extent in efforts to release him. On the 27th of June 2010, Shalit's parents started a march from their hometown Mitzpe Hila in the Western Galilee, to the Prime Minister's residence in Jerusalem. The march will end on June 8th; Gilad's parents stated that they would not go home until Gilad was freed. Gilad is still alive, support his release!

We are a group of volunteer activists, Israeli citizens, migrant workers and refugees. Together we struggle for citizenship to the children under threat of deportation. All Israeli children deserve Israeli citizenship! These children were born here, raised here, and educated here. This is their homeland, this is their home. They are Israeli children. There are only about 1200 children of migrant workers under threat of deportation. As was done in the government decision of June 2006, they must be given permanent status. http://www.israeli-children.org.il/ http://www.facebook.com/pages/Israeli-Children/139798801913 http://twitter.com/israelichildren http://www.flickr.com/groups/israelichildren/

  • Bring Amani Khansia Home!
Amani Khansia British child has been abducted in Turkey by his father and grandparents who he does not know, after a two week holiday to Marmaris. Mother and child have been held against their will like prisoners, Amani's mother has been violently attacked repeatedly, has been mentally abused and they had no help from the police or the British embassy. Amani is now missing in a foreign country ter...rified and without his mummy who he has never been a night without. His father Mehmet Baki Sakaroglu (Britains got talent failure Ali Baba) is also known as Danny/Micheal, working at cheeky boys, Marmaris. He is a known danger to others and has attacked numerous people including tourists. He has never been interested in his child, financially supported him or cared for his welfare. The only reason for the abduction is to gain entry to England by using his British child. We appeal to you to please join this group so that we can publicise this matter and try to get help for this British child who has lived in England his whole life and is currently being failed by his country. We desperately want to bring Amani home to his family where he is loved and safe
