  Inspirational. Independent. Iconic. Words not often used to describe the London club scene. It’s time for an alternative. On Friday 3rd June 2011, DJ/Radio Presenter Phil Marriott will launch an exciting new club night that will remould the backdrop of ‘Voho’, and present a throbbing, nostalgically celebratory - yet forward-looking - antidote to the current scene. Club i will nurture good old-fashioned social appeal and encourage clubbers to be proud, loud and be heard. To get back on the dance floor and to show the world - and each other - there is an alternative way to be. An avid fan of alternative music, and the darker, more twisted pop, Phil Marriott is now set to stimulate the senses by taking on his new role as promoter of one of the most exciting club nights to hit the London scene. Along with resident DJ Kate Way (Project:Rio), Phil will play the finest indie/alternative & 80’s in Room 1, with guest DJ’s spinning darker, twisted electro and industrial in Room 2. Club i will have alternative music at its heart: from the 70s, 80s to the NOW. Past icons will be celebrated, and new icons will be elevated to a new status. Every month Club I will become the place to be an original, to be individual. Just like the inspirational icons of the 80s London alternative club scene, Club i will allow you to go underground and be free – dressing how you want, dancing how you want, with no attitude required.
