Endometrios:* Drabbar ca 10% av alla kvinnor i fertil ålder
* 10% är tonåringar
* Ca 200 000 kvinnor i Sverige
* Globalt: ca 90 miljoner kvinnor dvs vanligare än HIV och cancer
* 60% har symtomgivande endometrios, ca 20% svåra symtom
* Endometrioscystor/härdar kan blöda ut i buken och ger upphov till inflammationer och smärta
* Endometrios är en kronisk sjukdom
* Sjukdomen uppträder i skov och frekvensen varierar från kvinna till kvinna
* För närvarande finns det inget bot, men det finns lindring
