  New Found Friends Private Animal Rescue & Rehoming Inc. is a registered charitable organization and an all domestic animal rescue group operating as a community foster care network entirely by volunteers. We are funded by public donations that are utilized solely for the benefit, upkeep & care of the animals within our foster care network. We rely on our network of volunteer foster care homes for all our rescue animals as we work to find these animals their forever homes. Our group takes in all types of domestic animal rescue cases including those that may be at risk of or facing euthanasia or abuse. We cover necessary veterinary care including micro-chipping, vaccination, general health checks & desexing (spaying or neutering). Our aim is to reduce the number of unnecessarily euthanized domestic animals & will take on animals from other states facing euthanasia in pounds & animal shelters. We believe all domestic animals deserve loving and caring homes that are able to provide the best possible quality of life. We continue to stay in contact with all rescue adopters throughout the lifetime of the animal adopted providing advice and support to new families or take back into care any animal we place should this become necessary. Throughout our endeavours we seek to educate the public regarding responsible pet ownership by promoting the importance of microchip identification, vaccination, local council registration & proper care & dietary practices. We also publicly promote strongly the problems of cruelty in our country in its many forms (including but not restricted to intentional & unintentional cruelty) & how to reduce these with the goal of eliminating them.   Happy Endings is a 501(c) (3) non-profit, no-kill organization founded in 1994 and run solely by volunteers. It is the mission of Happy Endings to find permanent homes for feral, stray, abused, neglected, unwanted and critically injured cats. We provide a home for all cats until they are ready to be adopted. Cats are never euthanized except when, in a veterinarian’s professional opinion, it is in a state of terminal suffering.

  Located at 6/130 High Street WOODEND VICTORIA 3442and founded in 2003, Pets Haven is a registered animal shelter that is devoted to rescuing lost and abandoned animals from pounds across Victoria and re-housing them with loving new families. All animals adopted from Pets Haven are vet checked, de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and scanned for ringworm. Dogs are parvo tested and cats, flu tested. All animals are assessed prior to adoption. Pets haven is a non profit, pro-life shelter that runs soley off donations from the general public. Our dream is to operate from a 'mega shelter' with our own vet clinic and facilities to cater to educational purposes.
