At the Candy Factory on the street called Lærkevej, you will find a gallery, cinema, library, bicycle workshop, media workshop, Photo workshop, screen print workshop, wood workshop, sewing workshop, art workshop, a book cafe with a weekly peoples kitchen, a cozy garden, and many wonderful people. The Candy Factory is in danger of being sold. Which means that our activities and open spaces will be closed down. It will no longer be a part of the city, and the city will lose a epicenter of crazy creative culture. We will not let this happen. Therefore we will struggle to keep this open and creative space. A space with another view one how to live in and organize a city. We are starting a campaign to buy The Candy Factory, so it can continue, grow, and spawn new open spaces all over Copenhagen. The campaign will have to gather 500.000,00 DKK, to start a professional fond that will buy the house. This fond will be completely controlled by the users of the house. This will ensure that the house will continue to be a open free space, with a multitude of social, cultural and political activities.
