Nireekshana provides a safe environment housing, feeding and educating orphaned & destitute children, who have been neglected. These children have suffered from hunger, poverty and extreme loneliness. Our vision is to change the lives of the children under our protective wings – by providing them with long-term care meeting not only their most basic needs, but expanding upon the themes already in place in education, health-care and the skills necessary to transform them into capable, responsible citizens. We are a group of volunteer activists, Israeli citizens, migrant workers and refugees. Together we struggle for citizenship to the children under threat of deportation. לילדים ישראלים - אזרחות ישראלית! הילדים האלה נולדו פה, גדלו פה, התחנכו פה. זו מולדתם, זה ביתם. הם ילדים ישראלים. מדובר בכ-1200 ילדי מהגרים בסכנת גירוש, ולא יותר. כמו בהחלטת הממשלה מיוני 2006, הם חייבים לקבל מעמד קבע. All Israeli children deserve Israeli citizenship! These children were born here, raised here, and educated here. This is their homeland, this is their home. They are Israeli children. There are only about 1200 children of migrant workers under threat of deportation.
