A 501c3 registered non profit dog rescue focusing on reversing discrimination of bully breeds and rescuing from high kill shelters as well as local animals in NY. We run solely off from generous donations and help from our foster families to house the dogs in a nurturing environment.

Sweet Bark Pit Bull rescue is a not for profit, no kill, foster based organization dedicated to the rescue and rehoming of Pit Bull and Bully breed type dogs.
We also work to save lives by preventing them. Pit Bull type dogs are the most bred dog in the US with a 93% euthanasia rate in shelters. Ask us about our free/low cost Spay Neuters through Lost and Found Dog Rescue's "De-Sex in the City" Program!
We are seeking fosters in the Northeast PA area. If you'd like to make a difference in the life of a homeless dog then please consider fostering...Fostering Save Lives!!! If you are interested or need more information please contact us at sweetbarkpitbullrescue@gmail.com
Sweet Bark Pit Bull Rescue is dedicated to our first Pit Bull, Dozer, who we lost to cancer January 9th 2009.
"Saving one dog won't change the world, but it will change the world for that one dog."
