  YUVA-Youth Under Visionary Action

  YUVA is a non-political, independent, not-for-profit organization run by students and recent graduates of institutions of higher education. It brings highly motivated and socially responsible youth together to join hands and work towards sustainable development of society and aims to instill sensitivity in young people across the world towards society. By our activities we try to make the youth more responsible and driven towards creating a better society. We make a difference - from orphanages, government schools, villages to even rural entrepreneurs in need. Last, YUVA is also the acronym for Youth Under Visionary Action, the actual name of the project.

  Youth in Action needs to stay a separate programme! Recently, the European Commission has proposed to merge the Youth in Action programme with educational programmes such as Erasmus and Leonardo under the name of ‘Education Europe’. This November, the European Parliament has a final say about this proposal. We, as individuals and organisations involved in the Youth in Action programme, fear that merging Youth in Action into ‘Education Europe’ will have a negative impact on European youth. Our message is that Youth in Action, with its unique focus on non-formal learning, needs to stay a separate programme. If you agree with us, please

  YOUTH IDENTITY

  Youth Identity is a non-governmental and non-profit organisation registered under the Society’s Registration Act ,1860.We are a growing organization working in the areas of environmental issues, education, women development, health and sanitation, vocational training etc. under the stewardship of people who share common interests. We believe in performing variety of services ranging from humanitarian services; advocate and monitor policies and encourage public and private participation by bringing the concerns of the citizen to the government. ‘Youth Identity’ is a belief; it is an indomitable energy which moulds this belief into a stronger form and hence it transforms itself into expression and action. For us the meaning of youth is beyond what we see, touch or feel--- it is what we have. It is the attitude which creates youth in all of us irrespective of our era and age. In ‘Identity’, “I” stands for ‘being’ who is not made of a single element but shares its existence with fellow beings. “I” is an individual who carries the responsibility of ‘being’ for something more than just its own self.
