The logo uses the vinta (with the colors of the Philippine flag) which is also used to identify us as Filipinos. Vinta is a mode of transportation which could very well relate to us as tour guides. The sail also "guides" the boat to its destination. The vinta is above the Federation initial (TGFED – for easier recall) which is colored blue to signify the sea. Below the initials is a word in Alibata meaning "tagagabay" which can also be roughly translated as “tour guide”.
Alibata is an ancient writing system that was used in the Philippines. Although it was all but extinguished by Western colonization, variants of it are still used in parts of Mindoro and Palawan.
Travel:
1. The act of moving from one place to another, often used to describe great distances or faraway destinations. Transporation.
2. The reference to events that occur during one's visit to another place.
