Average visibility in the Andaman ranges from 15-50 m and the underwater scenery is scattered with extensive coral reefs. Due to the influence of the southwest monsoon, most of the reefs surrounding the offshore islands occur on the east side of the islands. The most well-known dive site in the Phuket area is Racha Yai with its sloping rocky reefs and its plentiful solid coral forests. The area south Racha Yai, Racha Noi, is a haven for experienced divers as the depths are greater and the currents stronger. The overall topography is strikingly different from Racha Yai with huge granite boulders and the chance to see manta rays and whale sharks. The Similan Islands are commonly rated as one of the top 10 dive destinations in the world.

  Scuba Moraira Dive Centre

  Scuba Moraira is a PADI 5 Star Dive Centre and is one of the longest established PADI Dive centres in the area. Located on one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in Spain, just 45 minutes drive from Alicante airport and about 60 minutes drive from Valencia airport. We run daily boat dives to our large selection of varied and fascinating dive sites along the Mediterranean coast. Cavern dives and Night dives are also available. You can dive everyday with Scuba Moraira to well over 25 different dive sites in the Moraira, Javea and Calpe vicinity. If this is your 1st dive or your 1000th we can cater for you. Our dive sites range from 6 metres to nearly 40 metres. So no matter what certification level you have there will be plenty of places to suit your abilities.
