  Airtel today announced the launch of 3G Mobile and Data Services in Bangalore – Karnataka, as earlier we shared on TelecomTalk. The 3G Data offerings announced by Airtel is not attractive as Pan India 3G Mobile service provider BSNL/MTNL offring with their commercial 3G services in more than 700 cities across India. Airtel introduced various 3G data plans starting from Rs. 9 but there is no Unlimited 3G data plan launched by the operator. The Airtel GSM 2G Plan and customer can clubbed 3G data plans as their needs and suitability.Local , National and roaming 3G video call will be charged at 5paisa per sec. To activate the 3G service on Airtel Mobile subscribers need to send a SMS 3G to 121. After sending the SMS the confirmation SMS will comes and 2G Data Plan will be de-activated in any. After the confirmation by subscriber 3G Data Plan “Pay As You Go will be activated and all data access will be charged at 30p / 20kb (approx Rs. 15/Mb)
