Despite that, almost 1 billion people who are sharing the same planet with us do not have the access to this essentially life-sustaining element, clean and safe water. The lacking of basic water and sanitation system deprives people in the third world countries of clean and safe water, and subsequently of life itself. Instead of working or schooling, women and children walk hours and hours a day to locate and transport water for their families. The saddening part is that people in these communities died of waterborne diseases, as the water they laborious fetched, are dirty and unsafe water. Click Water Project, a CSR campaign initiated by BROS is set out to change this. Throughout this campaign, BROS Facebook Page will be dedicated to Click Water Project to raise awareness of water crisis issues in third world countries and to raise funds for water development project in Vietnam through World Vision’s ‘Gifts of Hope’ fund.   Water is a chemical substance with the chemical formula H2O. Its molecule contains one oxygen and two hydrogen atoms connected by covalent bonds. Water is a liquid at ambient conditions, but it often co-exists on Earth with its solid state, ice, and gaseous state, water vapor or steam. Seventy percent of the earth’s surface may be covered in water. The Earth has a finite supply of fresh water, stored in aquifers, surface waters and the atmosphere. Sometimes oceans are mistaken for available water, but the amount of energy needed to convert saline water to potable water is prohibitive today, explaining why only a very small fraction of the world's water supply derives from desalination. Clean drinking water is essential to human and other life forms. Access to safe drinking water has improved steadily and substantially over the last decades in almost every part of the world. But today’s water crisis is not an issue of scarcity, but of access. More people in the world own cell phones than have access to a toilet!!!! The UN estimates that by 2025, forty-eight nations, with combined population of 2.8 billion, will face freshwater “stress” or “scarcity”!!!!!!!! Conserving water helps not only to preserve irreplaceable natural resources, but also to reduce the strain on urban waste water management systems. Waste water is costly to treat, and requires continuous investment to ensure that the water we return to our waterways is as clean as possible.
