It is made up of teachers, bartenders, students, mothers, and grandmothers. The West Coast Derby Knockouts takes pride in upholding a family-friendly style of roller derby; our goal is to promote fitness and friendship through every hip check and knee slide, while empowering women of all ages, shapes, and sizes. We believe that in order to play like athletes we must train like athletes, and the West Coast Derby Knockouts incorporates both on-skate and off-skate training to benefit skaters at all levels. Even though we are an all-female league, we love and welcome the support of family members, significant others, and even derby kids!
