  • Pionyr - Czech Republic
Pionyr is an organisation of children and youth and adult people. It focuses on non-formal, educational activities and is organised during leisure time (after school, holidays etc.). This organisation keeps an old tradition based on the Pioneer movement, which is experienced by children's organisation in our country and abroad. The term "Pionyr" expresses an idea of modern pioneering; the idea of searching and longing for learning. The name Pioneer is internationally understood as a man - discoverer of new ways, directions and a herald of progressive ideas. Our association aims to fully comply with the meaning of this term. We do not exclude adult membership but the association is composed primarily of children and young people. Any young person can become a member regardless of their background (social, national, religious or political). We create an environment for many indaviduals to form independent groups who organise their own activities and structures - to establish sections, teams, clubs, crews and others according to their interests and needs. We use "play" as the main educational tool in all aspects. We are a voluntary and open association - we protect the interests of not only our members, but also of other children. We offer our events also to non-organised children and youth; we pursue edifying, educational and charity activities. In all our activities, we stress diversity and versatility as a necessary part of development of children and young people.

  • Aie Serve
Aie Serve is a youth-based organization that was founded on February 23rd, 2007 with the goal of spreading love, respect and acceptance via increasing awareness, education and voluntary service. The word “Aie” is a Japanese word pronounced as “I” and means “Love”, so the name of group is Love and Serve or I Serve...others. The idea came due to the aftermath of July War on Lebanon and the sharp polarization of the Lebanese youth. A group of friends gathered and started brainstorming ways of tackling this issue and agreed that the 3 basic values that are missing in Lebanon are Love, Acceptance and Respect. Loving others for who they are and not which political background or sect they are from, respecting others' point of views and beliefs no matter what and accepting differences and considering them the seeds of diversity. Afterwards, the group started gathering more ideas and people and tried to organize themselves little at a time while focusing on serving their surrounding and society at large. Aie Serve evolved from a group of friends, to a group of community service minded people, to a team and an organization. The organization got registered on March 12th 2009, in the Ministry of Interior as a non-profit/non-governmental organization under the Lebanese Law with registration number 341.

  • BHUMI
Bhumi is one of India’s largest independent youth volunteer non-profit organisations. Bhumi was founded on August 15, 2006 by a small group of young friends with a strong passion to change society as it is today and build a better India for tomorrow. The organisation provides socially-conscious students and young professionals a platform to serve society and to bridge the gap between the learned and the unlearned through education. Our volunteers educate and mentor children from orphanages, slum and village community centres in Chennai, Bengaluru, Chandigarh and Thiruvallur to give them a better future, which will benefit them as well as our country. The learning experience is mutual – our volunteers gain perspective and the experience to mould themselves into tomorrow’s leaders. At Bhumi, we believe that our children and volunteers are the latent potential that India needs for a bright and prosperous future. Bhumi also works actively towards the conservation of the environment and our work emphasiseshumanity’s collective need to act immediately against climate change
